COUNTRIES WHOSE NATIONALS DO NOT REQUIRE A VISA TO GO TO KENYA
Persons that DO NOT Require a Visa to Enter Kenya
Nationals of the following countries do not require visas to enter Kenya:
The Bahamas Malawi Sierra Leone
Barbados Malaysia(if not more than 30 days)
Malta
Singapore
Botswana
Burundi
Maldives Solomon Islands
Brunei Darussalam Mauritius Swaziland
Cyprus Mozambique Tanzania
Fiji Islands Namibia Tonga
The Gambia Nauru Trinidad & Tobago
Ghana Papua New Guinea Tuvalu
Grenada Rwanda
St.Lucia
Uganda
Jamaica St.Vincent & Grenadines Vanuatu B
Kiribati Samoa Zambia
Lesotho Seychelles Zimbabwe

4. EXEMPTIONS
The following group of people is exempted from obtaining visas to enter Kenya:
• Holders of valid re-entry pass for Kenya.
• Citizens of those countries with whom Kenya has a reciprocal Visa abolition Agreement (Eritrea, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Marino, Turkey and Uruguay)
• All passengers arriving and leaving by the same ship, and who do not disembark from the ship
• All passengers in transit though Kenya, who are arriving and leaving by the same aircraft or transferring to another aircraft and do not leave the International Transit Lounges of the airports
• Holders of United Nations Laissez-Passer whilst on official UN business
• Holders of Organization of African Union Laissez-Passer while on official OAU business
• Holders of African Development Bank Laissez-Passer whilst on official ADB business
5. COUNTRIES WHOSE NATIONALS REQUIRE REFERRED VISAS
Authority for issue of visas to Nationals of the following Countries is only granted by the Office of The Director of Immigration Services - Nairobi. Subsequently, Nationals of these countries are advised to refer their Visa enquiries to this office prior to finalizing plans for travel to Kenya:
Afghanistan Armenia Nigeria (if applied outside Nigeria)
Iraq Tajikistan Cameroon
Lebanon Senegal Azerbaijan
Mali Somalia Jordan
North Korea Syria Oman
STATELESS PERSONS NOT HOLDING VALID PASSPORTS OR OTHER TRAVEL DOCUMENTS ISSUED BY THEIR OWN COUNTRY OF NATIANALITY. THIS INCLUDES RECOGNISED REFUGEES – HOLDERS OF THE UNITED NATIONS REFUGEE TRAVEL DOCUMENT.

The period for processing of these visas varies between 6-8 weeks.
NATIONALS OF ANY OTHER COUNTRY WHICH DOES NOT APPEAR ABOVE MAY OBTAIN A VISA ON APPLICATION
EITHER AT THE MISSION OR ANY KENYA PORT OF ENTRY SUBJECT TO FULFILMENT OF THE NORMAL REQUIREMENTS.
