Advisory on Overseas Jobs

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Kenyans wishing to travel to other countries for employment purposes to contact the Ministry for appropriate advise on the status of the prospective employers.

This has been necessitated by the numerous representations brought to our attention by potential recruits on the mistreatment and violation of labour rights by some of the employers in various countries. The Ministry, through the Kenyan Missions accredited to various countries conducts investigations on various prospective employers to ascertain their legitimacy. Kenyans in Diaspora are also advised to contact the Kenyan Embassies accredited to their countries of residence in case of any problems for assistance.
